MIESSENCE REVIEW: IS MIESSENCE A SCAM?

After doing a ton of research on Miessence Organics: reviewing Miessence products, their business model, and number-crunching the Miessence Compensation Plan, I can definitively answer the question, “Is Miessence a Scam?”  I’m about to share everything I uncovered in this unbiased Miessence scam review!

Miessence Review: MY QUEST FOR A LEGITIMATE, GROWING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY:

When I started my quest to find a home-based business opportunity that is legitimate and ethical, selling certified organic healthcare products topped my list.  My research brought me to Miessence Organics, a company that markets premium, quality, lab-tested, fully-organic products.  I immediately pictured quitting my full-time job, eager to make money from home.

Miessence Review: A GROWING DEMAND FOR MIESSENCE ORGANICS:

ORGANIC and NATURAL healthcare products are one of the quickest-trending and growing markets.  This equates to a lot of potential for making money, (SCORE!).

In 2016, organic sales in the United States increased by a whopping 9%. In 2016, alone, more than $47 billion of organic products were sold.  So, there’s definitely a growing market for organic products.

First, my disclaimer:

I am not affiliated with Miessence in any way, nor have I ever sold their products. I’m not opposed to selling or purchasing Miessence products. However there’s only so many hours in my day…

Miessence Review: DO YOU HAVE LOFTY BUSINESS ASPIRATIONS, LIKE ME?

My current business goals are to “MAKE MORE DIME WITH LESS TIME”, and to live an unbridled ‘Laptop Lifestyle’.  I intend on leveraging a proven business model that allows me to eventually leave my business for days or weeks at a time and have my business continually make money for me: whether I’m sleeping, vacationing, partying, raising my babies, or whatever requires my attention or fascinates me at the time.

Miessence Review: DOES MIESSENCE FULFILL LOFTY BUSINESS ASPIRATIONS?

No.  After doing some serious digging for this Miessence Scam review, and reviewing the Miessence Compensation Plan, I reached a solid conclusion.  As much as I may love Miessence products and their health-conscious objectives, my business aspirations are not compatible with the Miessence Compensation Plan and their business model.  However, if your goal is to be a part of furthering clean products, rather than making money, Miessence is definitely it!

Regardless, for all of my efforts in researching, I felt compelled to put together this solid Miessence review.  From it, you can determine if Miessence Organics is a better fit for you.

Miessence Scam Review:  MIESSENCE OFFERS PREMIUM, TRULY ORGANIC PRODUCTS:

Is Miessence a great, legitimate company selling great products? Absolutely, hands down, YES!

Truthfully, I LOVE the Miessence brand!  I love Miessence products, their mission, their environmental stance, and their dedication to supporting fair-trade. The owners appear honest and ethical. The company has been around for 15 years, which is an exceptionally long time in the world of Multi-Level-Marketing companies.  This suggests this company is solid, too. .

Miessence Scam Review: THE MIESSENCE BUSINESS MODEL:

If you want to quit your job or earn seven-figures online, is Miessence the best online business opportunity out there? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

But, when it comes to ORGANIC multi-level marketing companies, though, Miessence Organics truly stands out among the very best, if not THE BEST.

I whole-heartedly stand by their company and  their ‘cleanest of the clean’ organic ingredients.  Their quality products bring superb value and accolades to organic-lovers like myself.  They are good people selling good, quality products, no disputing it!

Miessence Scam Review: NOW, ONTO THE NOT-SO-STELLAR PART:

sad face girl, bankrollbreakthrough.comWhen it comes to becoming an affiliate of Miessence Organics and actually selling Miessence products in an effort to create a solid, reliable income for yourself and your family, it’s highly unlikely that this will ever make you some serious cash.  What a disappointment.

I don’t mean to single out Miessence, necessarily, because these issues are the same with most multi-level marketing and network marketing companies, by and large.  But it’s important that you consider these pitfalls I’ve listed in this Miessence review, before diving head-first into selling their amazing organic products that you trust and love.

Miessence Scam Review: TWELVE REASONS WHY SELLING MIESSENCE IS NOT PROFITABLE, IN THE END:

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #1.) RECRUITING REQUIRES SALES SKILLS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE:

To make money selling Miessence Organics, you must consistently recruit new people underneath you.  Recruiting requires sales skills that you may or may not have, and in-depth knowledge of their products to be able to market them well.  Frankly, you’ll be spending a lot of time pitching to people that will never be interested in joining you in selling Miessence Organics, or buying it from you–ever.

miessence review, image of salesperson pitching miessence to a group of potential customers

SCARY STATISTIC: With network marketing companies like Miessence Organics, 98% of people who join can only convince TWO OTHERS to join. That isn’t nearly enough to make any sort of living from, clearly.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #2.) HOSTING HOME PARTIES REQUIRES TOO MUCH TIME, MONEY, AND EFFORT.

You’ll need to network with your friends and family and host parties to promote Miessence products, (which in many cases,  means the stress of scrambling to hosting parties amid  messes, toddlers throwing tantrums, or less-than-appealing environments).

Soon, you’ll need to branch out and host product parties outside of your home. This requires loading and unloading marketing materials, product samples, products for sale, purchasing and providing refreshments… Being the hostess, salesperson, and cleaning crew is exhausting!
Besides the time and back-breaking effort for all those involved, add to that the sheer cost of product samples, party refreshments, and discounted products you’re offering. The profit losses can really stack up quickly.

miessence review, high pressure sales pitchMiessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #3.) YOUR FRIENDS ARE NOT ENOUGH LEADS:

While the whirlwind of hosting Miessence Organics parties moves forward, you’ll also need to keep an ongoing list of your friends (your leads) and pressure them to join you to sell, sell, sell, (or at the very least, buy, buy, buy from you).

As the industry standard, you’ll burn through these ‘warm leads’ within six weeks. You’ll then start contacting old acquaintances, who will see right through your newfound friendliness. You’ll have to use sales pressure and guilt trips to make sales from limited leads.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #4.) VENDOR SHOWS ARE JUST AS ANNOYING, BACK-BREAKING AND COSTLY AS HOSTING HOUSE PARTIES:

Once you’ve burned through everyone you know, you’ll move on to vendor shows.  Whether it’s a craft sale or a mom-to-mom sale, you’ll need to rent table space which costs money.   Don’t forget about the cost of displays and table covers.

Then, you’ll need to haul all your goods and product displays into the show at 5 or 6 in the morning, and dedicate an entire weekend or a beautiful afternoon sitting there selling Miessence Organics piece-by-piece.  NOT my idea of fun, that’s for sure!!!

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #5.) GUILT WILL BECOME YOUR MAIN SALES TOOL:

Using the guilt tactic to earn sales is definitely not the best way to maintain or grow friendships.  But, you’ll need to be honing this strategy in order to make real money in this business model since you have limited leads.  Trust this wise Miessence Review and do yourself a favor and avoid this pitfall altogether with the right business model.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #6.) MONTHLY PURCHASES ARE REQUIRED TO STAY ACTIVE AS A MIESSENCE CONSULTANT:

miessence review of miessence compensation plan, image of tree with dollar amountsPer our Miessence review, under their current Miessence Compensation Plan, you are required to purchase 75 PV in products each month, in conjunction with having at least two other active reps underneath you. This requires consistent effort and unwavering sales.

If, for instance, your reps cancel their monthly auto-ship, you won’t be able to make any profits at all, unless you pay their share.  Miessence does offer an alternative, in the Miessence Compensation Plan which may be appealing, but can get you in debt if you are not careful. Miessence Organics offers the ability to purchase MORE products (140PV) in place of finding Miessence Consultants to sell underneath you.  This can quickly lead to suffering major profit losses if you aren’t careful, so be warned.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #7.) AUTO-SHIPPED PRODUCTS CAN BECOME MAJOR PROFIT LOSSES.image depicting woman lifting heavy boxes full of auto-shipped products which arrived at her front door

I don’t know about you, but I have zero interest in storing a never-ending, growing hoard of product samples, surplus, and unsold products in my garage.
The last thing my friends would want from me on Christmas Day or their birthday is a big jug of organic Protein or Greeny Powder from Miessence Organics that I couldn’t figure out what to do with.
And, let’s not minimize the constant daily worry in my head of ‘who I can pawn my growing hoard off to before my products expire, just to keep my income flowing’?
If you don’t have the precise skills to proficiently sell, sell, sell what is coming to your door before products expire, or if your effort or sales are inconsistent, it is easy to quickly spiral into debt. [while attempting to hone your sales skills instead of actually MAKING A PROFIT through Miessence Organics.]

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #8.) MLM PRODUCTS COST MORE THAN DIRECT SALES PRODUCTS.

In order for you to make a possible profit, there’s some heavy mark-up on Multi-Level Marketing products. That leads to the next problem:

amazon and e-bay logoMiessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #9.) THERE’S STIFF COMPETITION FROM OTHER SOURCES SELLING THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT.

Amazon and other sites offer Miessence Organics products on a two-day drop-ship, along with additional cost-savings through their ‘Subscribe & Save’ program. This is bound to make your sales job a lot more challenging.
As much as I might value you as a friend, Amazon’s two-day Prime shipping is so much more alluring to me as a customer than waiting forever-and-ever to get Miessence Organics products delivered from you, or worse, shipped from far-off Australia where their home-base is.
Yes, Miessence Organics offers their own auto-shipping from Australia.  But, as a customer, if I only want a single product here or there, I would never sign up for auto-ship, period!  I wouldn’t want expensive Miessence Organics products stocking up in my closet any more than you would as a sales rep. This equates to a harder sell for you, too.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #10.) THERE’S OTHER LESS-COSTLY ALTERNATIVES TO MIESSENCE PRODUCTS.

And, let’s also be honest–most people *aren’t* yet on board with the organic lifestyle like you and me.  So, trying to sell anyone the most-expensive, top of the line organic product is going to be pretty challenging.

Your average Joe will have no interest in buying a $200 organic hair care set. You have to admit, selling a $200 shampoo set from Miessence Organics will be far more challenging than, say, selling a $3 a box of Girl Scout cookies outside your local grocery store.

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #11.) MIESSENCE IS NOT A ‘ONE-STOP-SHOP’.

Per my opinion in this Miessence review, Miessence’s organic makeup line is sparse. Miessence Organics doesn’t offer organic essential oils. They only offer a mere few health suppliments and no laundry detergent.  These are just to name a few off the top of my head. So, already, you’re losing a big chunk of potential sales from the organic market.
As a customer, why wait around for you to show up once or twice a year with your little brochure of limited products when I can take a trip down to Whole Foods.  Or,  even better, plunk down in front of my computer and buy it directly from Amazon who just bought Whole Foods?
See my point? The challenges are stacking up…

Miessence Scam Review:  PITFALL #12.) MIESSENCE DOES NOT TEACH YOU BUSINESS $$ SCALABILITY $$.

miessence review, sales representative struggling to make business work

Last on my current list of really setbacks in this Miessence review is actually the most important one of all.  Miessence Organics does not effectively teach you the nuts and bolts of becoming successful in building your own online business empire.  Nor does it teach you how to scale their business model in any super-lucrative way.  And based on the meager earnings in the Miessence Compensation Plan, you’ll need to sell A LOT to make any real income from selling Miessence.  It’s just a poor business model with too many pitfalls.

How can I put this nicely?

miessence organics review, fishing for dollars

Miessence will teach you the inefficient method of how to fish for their customers using a fishing pole, one fish at a time.  They will not teach you how to cast large fishing nets for yourself, capable of earning you a 7-figure income or more, online.  Nor will Miessence Organics teach you how to scale your business so that you can, in effect, run multiple fisheries later on down the road.   THIS is where the REAL money in online marketing lies: in learning how to cast large fishing nets, not in selling essential oils one quarter ounce at a time.  That inefficient method is for amateurs, no offense.

IS MIESSENCE A SCAM?: THE FINAL VERDICT:

melaleuca review, monopoly broke, pay poor tax

Is Miessence a scam? Absolutely not. But: even if Miessence products may be to your liking, it’s not an ideal business if your goal is to earn serious levels of income online—period.  The earnings in the Miessence Compensation Plan are not enough to provide an income from without serious scalability.

At best, you can spread the word about their products to several of your fellow organic-loving friends.  In return, you’ll be blessed with their discounts on your future Miessence Organics orders.

I don’t mean to be a jerk in this Miessence Organics review.  Is Miessence a scam? No.  But, if you’ve never sold anything online or haven’t already mastered the foundation or principles of scaling an online business, selling Miessence Organics will NOT be that life-changing opportunity you are searching for.  Selling Miessence WILL NOT allow you to live an alluring ‘Laptop Lifestyle’.  Nor will it allow you to cast your financial worries to the wind.

Sorry, Miessence.

15 Replies to “Miessence Review — Is Miessence a Scam or a Great Opportunity?”

  1. Miessence products are great. I am so in love with Miessence. Truly the world’s first certified organic skin care, hair care, body, nutrition and cosmetic project range. I use Miessence and I see visible changes.

  2. Miessence certainly is not a scam. They have really nice and effective products. The only downside about Miessence is that the business model isn’t all that stellar. If you dream of Making a mouth watering profit marketing Miessence products, that might just be a pipe dream.

  3. Miessence products are great but its network marketing isn’t all that great when you take a cursory look. All Network marketing sucks. When I look around, all I see is frustrated distributors desperately trying to project a lifestyle of affluence I know too well is fake.

  4. Mlm is hard work. May I also add, that it is not a get rich quick scheme. Miessence might look like one, but they aren’t. If you want to make a livable income from Miessence network marketing, give it your best shot. Put in the right commitment and you will have a positive story to tell.

  5. Miessence has been around for the past 15 years. They’ve been consistent in terms of quality and business ethics. Thumbs up to Miessence. You hardly find such consistency when you look at other brands with a similar focus. As an environmental scientist also, I love their commitment to the environment. It’s commendable.

  6. Thank you twinsatthetop! This review came at the right time. My interest in Miessence network marketing just plummeted. I have been looking for an objective review of this company. Thanks again for sharing.

  7. Before joining Miessence, go learn how to recruit and how to market products. This is because you have to recruit to increase your downline and make constant sales to get income. If you don’t do these, you will be losing money every month

  8. Miessence isn’t that unique when you consider the fact that virtually all the ingredients used in their product are also used by other brands who make similar products. Therefore, I don’t get this unnecessary hype.

  9. Miessence network marketing has proven not to be profitable for the majority who join. The compensation plan also doesn’t look great. The same pitfalls like Melaleuca and other network marketing schemes. They keep coming up with different names.

  10. If Miessence agrees to defray the cost of hosting product parties, I’ll give its network marketing a serious thought. .but I reckon, that is asking too much. It will never happen. Hahaha. 😁

  11. “Then, you’ll need to haul all your goods and product displays into the show at 5 or 6 in the morning and dedicate an entire weekend or a beautiful afternoon sitting there selling Miessence Organics piece-by-piece. ”
O my, never going to do this. This is a waste of productive time.

  12. This alternative looks good. Anything but selling. I suck at selling. Although I wouldn’t mind being coached. If I get help with this, I am all in on the alternative.

  13. What an all-inclusive review. Thank you Twinsatthetop. I’ll go over to a couple of websites to check what they also have to say about Miessence. Then I will make my choice, either to join and fancy my chances or to seek alternatives.

  14. Miessence scores 100% in transparency about products ingredients. No chemicals! However, Miessence transparency has no influence on the profit of participants of its network marketing scheme. You ain’t going to be rich by distributing Miessence products.
